Generally, it should be noted that the Cotswolds is a rural landscape with narrow roads, few passing places and limited coach parking.
In some locations there are designated coach routes, approved set-down and pick-up locations, and site-specific constraints in popular villages, so we ask operators to be respectful and adopt our Cotswolds Coach Operator Visit Code of Conduct.
Coach parking in towns and villages
Bampton
Bampton Recreation Ground, OX18 2AA. Drop off point in Market Square, OX18 2JH.
Berkeley
Berkeley Castle, GL13 9PJ by prior arrangement. Drop off point (when castle is closed) in Salter Street, GL13 9DB.
Bibury
No coach parking. Ten minute drop off / pick up in operation - see details of arrangements in Bibury.
Coaches must use only the signed and designated set-down and pick-up locations and follow the published approach and departure routes. The stopping places are for immediate passenger set-down and pick-up only and must not be used for parking, waiting or layover.
After passengers have alighted, the coach must leave Bibury immediately and proceed to an approved off-site waiting location.
If the stopping place is occupied or cannot be used safely, the driver must continue to the approved off-site waiting location and must not stop elsewhere in Bibury.
Bourton-on-the-Water
A Coach Parking trial is operating including drop off & pick up on Meadow Way with drivers making arrangements to park on Pulhams in the industrial estate GL54 2HQ.
Please note that the private contractor that operates the car park on Station Road GL54 3EN no longer accepts full size coaches, only minibuses of 19 seats and under. See more information here
Broadway
Milestone Ground car park, WR12 7HB. 6 coach spaces, a short walk from the village centre.
Burford
Priory Lane, OX18 4SG (3 spaces only) operators with large groups or 12m+ vehicles should not use the parking due to tight layout constraints and local traffic considerations.
Cheltenham
Royal Well bus station, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 9SA. 4 coach spaces

The new transport hub of Arle Court is now open & will in the future be bookable for coaches making visits to Cheltenham & Gloucester very easy.
Chipping Norton
Chipping Norton School, OX7 5DY (9am – 3pm only). Contact the Head Teacher on 01608 642007 to reserve parking. Drop off point in West Street, OX7 5EL.
Cinderford
Bus Station, GL14 2BS. Drop Off point on High Street, GL14 2TB.
Cirencester
Hare Bushes service station, GL7 5DS.
Smaller coaches can park at Tetbury Road, GL7 1FP.
There is no coach parking available at Cirencester Park unless by prior arrangement. Please contact the Estate Office for group visits.
Coleford
Cupola Close, GL16 8RD. Drop off on Station Road, GL16 7LJ.
Dursley
Must be arranged in advance by contacting Dursley Town Council on 01453 547758 or by emailing: admin@dursleytowncouncil.gov.uk
Parking is located at the Bus Station on May Lane, next to the library. GL11 4JN.
Gloucester
Westgate Street car park, Gloucester, GL1 2TU 7 designated spaces but you must reserve your space prior to your visit, by emailing parkingadmin@gloucester.gov.uk
Westgate Street Car Park is well signposted and conveniently located in the city centre, just a short walk from Gloucester Cathedral and the Folk of Gloucester. Toilets for drivers and passengers are available on site at this car park.
If you are driving a minibus with 16 passengers or more, please email parkingadmin@gloucester.gov.uk as you will also need to arrange your space prior to arrival however if you are driving a minibus carrying less than 16 people, please park across two car bays in Westgate Street Car Park, you will need to pay for both bays.
Please note There is a height barrier, so coaches need to leave by 7pm, when the barrier is reinstated.
Lydney

Stamages Lane car park, GL6 6UZ - No designated coach parking but there is a drop off point alongside the Car Park on Stamages Lane with a max waiting time of 30 minutes.
Stow-on-the-Wold
Maugersbury Road car park, GL54 1AQ. 5 designated coach spaces.

The coach bay in the town is a dedicated area for coaches to drop off/pick up their passengers and has a waiting limit of 10 minutes which is enforced. The driver should then go to the coach park in Maugersbury Road if wanting to park in Stow.
Stroud

Stratford Park - Buses/Coaches maximum stay 2hrs, no return within 1hr.
Tetbury
